This small, multi-branched shrub has clusters of small, hairy, silver leaves and dense white flowers with fluffy white seed tufts — giving rise to its "snow" name ("kapok" in Afrikaans). It grows mainly in Namaqualand, and the Western and Eastern Cape.

FRAGRANCE

Fresh and herbaceous, with a soft, sweet floral quality and camphoraceous undertones. Also known as African Rosemary, its scent is reminiscent of rosemary but softer and greener, with subtle spicy notes — a gentle, fynbos take on a familiar herbal aroma.
